Setelah sekian lama penasaran terhadap setting di Outlook Express yang katanya bisa sedot (iiih.... sedot) email dari yahoo, sekarang terjawab sudah.
Rasa penasaran timbul dikarenakan berkali-kali udah dikonfigurasi sesuai petunjuk para dedengkotnya (apa saya dak ngerti-ngerti kale ye....) tapi tidak berhasil dan ternyata itu hanya berhasil untuk email yang berasal dari yahoo.co.id, sedangkan saya sering menggunakan yahoo.com.
Jika anda mempunyai email di yahoo.com, apakah itu bisa diakses oleh POP3 di outlook express?? Jawabannya bisa dan bahkan itu gratis seperti yang diberitakan. Hanya dengan menambahkan program yang namanya YPOP!. Caranya adalah sebagai berikut :
1. Download YPOPs di sini.
2. Install YPOPs di komputer anda dan jalankan.
3. YPOPs akan terkonfigurasi secara otomatis dan anda hanya mengganti sedikit yang perlu.
4. Pada saat menggunakan Outlook Express pastikan kalau YPOP masih bekerja.
Sekarang ada konfigurasi terhadap Outlok Express
1.Klik "Tool" lalu pilih "Account".
2. Klik "Add" lalu pilih "Mail"
3. Masukkan nama anda
4. Masukkan alamat email di yahoo
5. Pada Incoming Mail dan Outgoing Mail isi dengan 'localhost'.
6. Pada Account Name isi account anda di Yahoo yang anda gunakan untuk login beserta dengan passwordnya pada kotak password.
7. Klik "Finish".
8. Outlook Express sudah bisa digunakan untuk menyedot email yahoo.com.

Waaahhh... koq ndak bisa yach... Apa krn saya pakai LAN untuk koneksi internetnya, jd mesti ada settingan tambahan lagi?? Mohon pencerahannya nich... Ditunggu yach... Tks a lot sebelmnya... :)
Anda menggunakan koneksi dari kantor...??, coba cek di configure yPops bagian Network --> Bind on I.P address 127.0.0.1, Enable SMTP dengan port 25, tidak menggunakan proxies, kecuali memang di kantor atau setingan internet anda mengharuskan menggunakan proxy.
Mas Saya mau download YPops kok susah bgt yach..., selalu error..., mas tolong di sharing dong YPopsnya. atau tolong saya dong kirimin ke email saya : suprie_200284@yahoo.co.id, soalnya penting banget untuk kerja dikantor.
saya juga punya kasus yang sama dengan mas, saya udah coba sampai berkali-kali setting outlook express untuk mail yahoo.com tapi belum bisa dan akhirnya saya menemukan caranya di blog ini.
